What is Computer Based Testing?
Computer Based Testing (CBT)
What is computer-based testing or CBT? In simple terms, a CBT is a test that is taken completely on a computer. Unlike the 2002 GED "Paper and Pencil" exam, the 2014 test not only tests your academic understanding of all four subject areas, it also requires basic keyboarding, screen navigation, and editing skills. Test takers who are proficient in typing, using a mouse, and recognizing how to move between tabs, buttons, and screens, will have an advantage in taking a computer based test.
