How do i obtain my ged transcripts?
There are two ways to obtain your GED transcripts. The method you will use is solely determined by the date when you passed your final GED test.
1. If you took the GED subject tests at San Mateo Adult School before July 1, 1990, you must contact the Adult School to receive your transcripts.
2. If you took the GED subject tests at San Mateo Adult School after July 1, 1990, you must contact GED.com who will transfer you to Parchment Exchange.
1. If you completed GED testing before July 1, 1990
If you earned your GED certificate before July 1,1990 at the San Mateo Adult school, you must obtain your GED transcripts from the Adult School. Select the following link called Requesting a Transcript from San Mateo Adult School. This link will provide instructions on how to request transcripts from the Adult School.
2. If you completed GED testing after July 1, 1990
If you earned your GED certificate on or after July 1,1990, you must order your transcripts from GED.com. Directions are on the GED.com site. The method used to obtain your records varies and is based on when you passed the GED tests. Visit the GED.com Request a Transcript page to learn about the process you must follow.

2. Click on the link that states: California after July 1990
3. You are now on the Parchment Exchange Log on Screen. On this screen, also called the Logon Requesting Service page, you must either create a Parchment account, or sign into your existing account. (see image of screen)
Note that a Smart Transcript only applies to students who take and pass the 2014 GED℗ exams. Students who passed the 2002, "paper and pencil" GED tests do not have this option. You will obtain your transcripts, however, you are not eligible for the Smart Transcript program.
If you need an "Official Transcript," a printed and sealed copy of your GED scores that are sent directly to an employer or university.you must apply to Parchment.com. You may place your order for transcripts online, or you may call Parchment between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday at 1-888-906-4031. To order online, you must create an online Parchment account. Directions are found on the Parchment Credential Requesting Service page.
